Magzine Promotional Poster - Finalised Idea:
After receiving feedback from our Focus Group and conducting a survey, to decipher the most popular and effective promotional poster, we decided on design number one. Our focus group stated that this was their favorite due to the fact that it 'depicts a story, which is 'very enticing' and has excellent continuity with the music video; through the use of synergy employed by using the same polaroid throughout the product. Similarly, they liked the use of critic reviews as it reveals that the album has been critically successful, which would increase the likelihood of them listening to the album. However, the two ancillary products that were voted to be the most popular, didn't match or complement one another due to the juxtaposing colour schemes. We, therefore, received the feedback, that we should adapt our poster in order to create colour synchrony, our adaptations can be seen in the diagram below:

In order to ensure that our product would appeal to our target audience, we conducted a survey as to which design was their favourite for a poster; we specifically asked them if seen in a magazine which poster would entice them to purchase the album the most. The following pie chart displays the results of the voting of the winning poster. We interviewed the four members of our focus group as well as six of our peers in order to gain a wider variation of opinions.
